The University of Dundee Great Scholarships for East Asia (Indonesia), 2019

Here is a scholarship opportunity for Indonesian students. In partnership with the British Council and the GREAT Britain Campaign, The University of Dundee is delighted to announce the Great Scholarships 2019 – East Asia (Indonesia).

For entry in September 2019, the scholarship is a full-time program open to students from Indonesia who are enrolling in the undergraduate degree program for the academic year 2019-20.

Founded in 1881, the University of Dundee is a public research university in Dundee, Scotland. It has additional facilities at Ninewells Hospital, containing its school of medicine; Perth Royal Infirmary and ranked within the top 300 universities in the world.

Scholarship Details:

  • Deadline: March 31, 2019
  • Course Level: Scholarships are available to study an undergraduate degree program
  • Award: Scholarships will be awarded worth up to £10,000 for one year program
  • Number of Awards: Two scholarships are awarded
  • Nationality: Citizens of Indonesia
  • Scholarship can be taken in the UK

Eligibility for the Scholarship:

  • Eligible countries: Citizens of Indonesia are eligible to apply for the scholarship.
  • Eligible Course or Subjects: Scholarships are available in these subjects: Anatomy / Forensic Anthropology / Forensic and Medical Art, Architecture and Urban Planning, Archives and Record Management, Art and Design, Biological/Biomedical Sciences, Biomedical Engineering, Business, Careers, Civil Engineering, Community Learning and Development, Computing, Education, Electronic Engineering, Energy Petroleum and Mineral Law and Policy, English / Creative Writing / Film Studies, European Studies, Geography / Environmental Science, History, Languages, Law, Liberal Arts, Mathematics, Mechanical Engineering, Nursing and Health Sciences, Philosophy, Physics, Politics and International Relations, Psychology, Social Work
  • Eligibility Criteria: Applicant must meet the following criteria:
  • The applicant must hold an unconditional or conditional offer of entry to the University of Dundee for September 2019 entry, for an undergraduate program not in the School of Medicine or Dentistry
  • Applicant must reside in Indonesia
  • Holds an Indonesian Passport
  • Applicants Are classified as Overseas Fee Status as confirmed in your offer letter by the University of Dundee
  • The applicant must hold an unconditional or conditional offer of entry to the University of Dundee for September 2019 entry, for an undergraduate program not in the School of Medicine or Dentistry

How to Apply

To apply for the scholarship, the applicant must download and complete the application form and submit it to a.p.watson@dundee.ac.uk,

Supporting Documents:

The university will verify your passport and residential category based on the documents submitted as part of your course application, however, if they are not able to verify these they may ask you to resubmit them.

Program Benefits:

  • There are two (2) £10,000 awards available, for two (2) students.
  • Each award will be awarded as a tuition fee discount, meaning that any fees due to the University will be minus the scholarship amount. The award can only be made in the first year only and is not awarded per year of study.
  • If you currently hold an External Scholarship, then you cannot receive this scholarship in addition unless the total value of both scholarships combined is less than your total tuition fee.
  • If you currently hold or have an offer for a Global Excellence Scholarship or another University of Dundee scholarship or bursary, then you may be eligible to receive both. We will let you know in your offer letter or other communication.
  • If you are a student from one of the partnership Universities and hold a scholarship as part of this agreement, then you will not receive both scholarships – the highest value award will apply.
